Russian Sage (Perovskia atriplicifolia) has grayish white stems that reach 3′ to 4′ tall and wide. It spreads annually by suckering near the base of the plant. It is extremely drought tolerant and after establishment can be grown with low or no water. Profuse lavender blooms early summer until frost that honey bees and butterflys love. Hardy to USDA Zone 5.
